Achilles: British 17pdr SPG

The M10 Achilles put a fearsome 17-pounder gun into an Amercian M10 tank destroyer - over 1000 were converted during WWII. Deployed in Normany in 1944, it proved extremely effective, especially at dealing with German counter-attacks and able to move into postion more quickly than towed guns.

In games of Bolt Action, the Achilles is a light tank armed with a super-heavy anti-tank gun, and can be included in any armoured platoon.

This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
